Interested in a Career in Construction or Building Trades?

We are hosting an information session to recruit applicants for a Pilot Building Trades Pre-Apprenticeship Program offered by Don Bosco Workers INC.
Pre-apprenticeship programs provide a direct pathway for people from low-income
communities -- including, but not limited to, formerly incarcerated individuals, people on
public assistance, and residents of public housing -- to enter union apprentice programs,
work on union construction projects in their own communities and, more importantly,
secure lifelong middle class careers in the unionized construction industry.
This pilot pre-apprenticeship class will begin in October 2017 and will be held for
four-to-eight weeks -- for a total of 140 hours -- at the Don Bosco Community Center in
Port Chester.
